Potty Training Day 3...

I know usually you start off a blog with day 1 and 2 but those were a bit of blur. I tried to keep track of changes of clothes on day 1 but lost count sometime during naptime. We did learn from that lesson though and will keep doing diapers for all sleeping times for now. Other than naptime though Day 2 was much better than Day 1, and Day 3 seems to also be an improvement (only one accident each so far). Kate has the most interest and pitched a fit when she had to go in a diaper for nap time this afternoon. Emma however is in love with elmo diapers that we were forced to buy a few weeks ago when the house brand we normally get was out of stock. I'm guessing when the Elmo's are gone she will go excitedly into the realm of normal under ware also. I think summing up the entire experience though it is not the girls they are being trained but the parents are being trained to count the minutes between bathroom visits and how long until the next one. Things that have worked great... jelly beans kept in the bathroom, stickers, and cookies oh and being allowed to flush the big potty (thats the real highlight for them). Yes I will bribe them to do what I want!
