Jeff and Audra, soon to be the Woods family, came up to see us from Florida, Tallahassee to be specific. We gave them the tour of Savannah, which is mostly Jenny giving the tour and me taking it easy for a change and taking pictures of the city. After that, we went out to Tybee to check out the lighthouse and walk on the beach.
I like weekends filled to the brim with friends, steak on the grill, and loads of fun.
So, this weekend we took off to Pooler to help on the church office project/Bible study. No one was there though. So, after a long talk with the pastor on politics, I took off to take some pictures.
I never really have time to do what I like... taking photos of stuff around. Most of the time I never really do it because I never look at what I see every day as cool enough to warrant my time.
I came to the conclusion that most of my stuff looks good enough for my own website. So, I posted it. I never really know if other people look at this site or whether its just for my own pleasure or really if it even matters, I'd still post my pictures.
So, yesterday on my way into work, I was headed onto the island and there was a f250 in front of me. All the sudden, I see what looks very like a 3-ring binder fly up in the air. Of course, I wasn't following him close enough to get hit by the thing because I'm a safe driver. Yeah, that and the fact that his 2003 model left my 1988 model off the line. Well, for the next mile, I debate what exactly it was and where exactly it came from. Did the guy see it? Did it fly out of his truck or was it kicked up off the road by his truck? I decide that it could be something
very important. So, I turned around and headed back to where I'd seen it. Its amazing that I even remembered where it was. I get out and "check" to see what it is... someone's business checkbook. I called the number on an invoice that was also in there and told the guy where I worked. He said, "I just started looking for it." Fun stuff. James saves the day.

So, all last week, my extended family has been on Hilton Head (where I work). I actually had lunch with them last monday where I took this rather interesting picture of two of my sisters using their hands to talk.

This was a house at the beach beside the condo my parents had rented. Huge house and we never really figured out whether it was a private house or a rental.

Jenny, Ellen, and I went for a walk on the beach and I took some photos but this one was my favorite and plus its kindof artsy.
