An action shot for ya. We took the girls to the Botanical Gardens this past weekend and they have a cute little kids area that lets them "plant" flowers, which are silk. the girls had a great time. They had just watched us do this the weekend before so they new exactly what was going on. They also have learned the words "dirt" and "mess" because of it. Now whenever something is messy around the house not only do I know it but I have littles to point it out over and over again. "Mess, mess, mess, mess" maybe that will help me keep the house a little cleaner!

Just got a lot of pictures off of the camera. Here is a picture of Kate doing some shopping at the Twin's sale a few weekends ago. We have learned the word shop now and they actually request to go, this could be a bad thing... I also found a picture of the two of them sitting beside each other while one was in the rocker, since i told you about it in the last post thought I might as well show you it too.
We spent all weekend outside and have continued to spend our afternoons and evenings outside also this week. We finally made a flower bed out of the large mulch pile in the middle of our back yard. It looks great! Finally makes James' path seem like it should be there. We have been to busy taking pictures of little people to take pictures of the yard though so you'll just have to come see it. I do think that James and I should not be left alone in plant stores for too long though, our eyes definitely get bigger than our wallets can handle.

At the sale this weekend after I had done all our shopping James came to pick up some large items we got and saw this rocker. While there are others that are in the works he couldn't wait. A 2 dollar present made Emma's weekend! She sits in it and says "rock, rock rock" as she rocks back and forth. If one of them is sitting in the other one will come and sit on the floor next to them, we guess thats because at grandparents houses there are always two chairs and they are used to sitting in them together. For now they are happy with the one and even when the others do make it up here the 2 dollars will have still been well spent!
Jenny worked the Twins Club sale this weekend. Her mom was in town to help out and hang out with the girls. We went to go see Jenny at "work" and then went to the river to play. We really just went to throw rocks. A blast was had by all. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Emma and Kate waiting for ammo.

I showed Emma what sycamore balls do when you tear them apart. She was thoroughly amused.

Picture of the river. Normally, you can see the base of these trees.

Emma and Kate throwing rocks at the same time.
We officially have everyone healthy around here again. Okay one runny nose but I've decided after 3 months of that to consider that normal. It is great to have Kate eating again and they way Emma ate while Kate was sick I wouldn't be surprised if they are now close to the same weight. We are beginning to work with the girls in one last push before Emma's last developmental clinic appointment next month. I have a huge goal for her of learning some basic shapes and sharpening our colors a bit before we go. I feel like a teacher who teaches towards a test except I have no earthly idea what the test will be. A year ago they wanted to know if she could color and that blew my mind so I can only imagine what they will think she should do now. Maybe I should set my goals higher than shapes and colors and think essay writing... In terms of learning things Kate has mastered the concept of the number two. She know finds two of everything and brings them to me so that she can point out that there are two of them. Tonight we got a free pink dog at the mall, when we get home she comes inside goes straight to the toy basket pulls out a little black dog we already had and brings them both to me saying "Two dogs" I was busy bringing things in from the car so this was in no way prompted by me. So if you need to have something counted (and only have two of them)bring them over we'll help!
