A weekend of playing ended up in a rainy weekend. I helped the son of one of the ladies at Jenny's work build two Pinewood Derby cars. I had never done it even though I am an Eaglescout. We finished both of them and he still had enough energy to chase Nevi around the house for about an hour. After that, we went out for Moe's and I dug up a sprinkler head to re-place it a few feet from where it was. We made some notes and took some photos of what we wanted our new fence to look like. It started raining Saturday night and didn't end until some time this morning. Posted by Hello

Here is what the Pinewood Derby Cars ended up looking like. Posted by Hello

Here's a belly picture... the girls are really growing. I felt Emma's elbow last night. Posted by Hello

I thought you all might want to see what the changing table project ended up looking like, as well. I think it turned out okay and Jenny really likes it. Posted by Hello

This weekend we stayed home pretty much all weekend. We chilled at the house Friday night. Saturday, we did little projects around the house until the evening. We did some shopping at Walmart and got out without getting much of anything we didn't need (don't tell them though). Then we hung out with Koutsunis and Jenny, made pizza and hung out some more. Sunday was very nice. We went to the Sizler with the Powell's. Its refreshing to have a pastor, some stability, and even a huge crowd at evening service.

So, its finally Friday. Jenny and I stayed up too late last night watching CSI and then Without a Trace. We have come to the conclusion that the two shows are getting very violent and that we like House better. I actually started writing in our Shutterfly Photobook about our trip to Alaska last night too. Today, Jenny has an appointment in Savannah and I have to work. It is the beginning of the weekend though!!!

Without further delay, I'm posting pictures (first of Kate since she has been shy up to the point of the last appointment, and second of Emma). I have reversed the colors for ease of viewing. Emma may be a little harder to see but at least it isn't as much one of those picture puzzles that you have to unfocus your eyes to see as was the black background pictures.

Jenny and I went to Di Vino restaraunt on Hilton Head last night for Valentine's night. Then we went to a hotel with a hot tube that we ended up not using... Jenny said that the heated pool was better so we just did that. I think we both had fun at our last childless outing. (Babies are so easy to pack up when they're in the womb. ;-))

We got to see Emma and Kate this morning. They were a little more calm about this appointment. I think they are getting used to having their pictures taken in utero. Emma weighed in at a whopping 1.9lbs and Kate weighed 1.8lbs. We think Kate may still be the beefy one but Emma was scratching her scalp with Kate's umbilical cord quite hard and this was pressing Kate into the wall of their home. So the ultrasound tech (Susie?) was having to do a little estimation in measuring her. Her back was only a shadow. We got some pictures but Jenny and her mom are hogging them right now and they will be scanned in soon.
