On Monday as we drove to workout Emma said "Emma wants hair bow." This took me a little off guard because we don't own any hair bows. I asked her why and she said "Mary Walton and Shelby have hair bows" (another set of twins that we play with and who came to church on Sunday with pretty hair bows). I know 2 1/2 is a little young to want to dress like your friends but I thought the request for a bow not a bad idea and got two from a mom of twins last night that makes them. Emma came downstairs this morning saw the bows sitting on coffee table and instantly said "hair bow" -- keep in mind that she really has never seen one not on someone's head. So we put them on and they haven't budged since. I took them to the bathroom and showed them their bows in the mirror and they beamed. All morning all I have heard is "Kate has pink hair bow, pretty" "Emma has white hair bow, pretty". I guess we will have to invest in a few other bows. And yes I do know that the pink does not go with red shirt or the red hair. I didn't think about the hair clashing when I got it but at least Kate doesn't care.
