We wanted to show off the girls beautiful Easter dresses that Grandma Martin got for us. We have had them for a few months now eagerly waiting for Easter. The girls looked so cute! The dresses have two layers, a cotton under layer and a sheer silky layer. All through church Kate kept playing with the top layer enjoying the texture of it. These will now become our dresses for Midway coming up in the next few weeks. They will be the best dressed two year olds at the event (though dressing up the kids in their finest is part of the ritual of Midway). Maybe I can find something new to wear for the occasion also. Last year it was a forced shopping trip for a new outfit because we left all my dress clothes at home. This year maybe I'll look before we get down there :)

James' mom added all the embroidery and ribbons. The dresses really make them look like little angels, which in the 2 year old phase we have begun is far from what I think of them most days. I am beginning to see little bits of James' and my personalities shining through and well, they aren't the good traits that you want them to inherit.
