For a change this past weekend I did not see any patients and instead we played and slept in. I don't know how we managed it, but we are probably the only parents of infant twins that get to sleep in till 10am on Saturdays. Once we all got up we piddled and then headed up to the Beaufort Shrimp Festival where they were supposed to have free shrimp tasting. We searched for the free stuff but found no free shrimps to eat only a free chick-fil-a thingy and a bumper sticker. False advertising if you ask me. We did manage to get a Christmas present so that made it a worth while trip. James also found a new rock wall that we hope to someday get to climb... have to get it passed through the budget first. Saturday evening James tried his hand at crabbing using two little crab nets off of a public pier (you can crab and fish off of land without needing a fishing license). He was unsuccessful this trip but sounds as if he is not giving up so easily. He did managed to catch a dog fish in his net but was so alarmed by its ugly appearance that he let it get away. So coming home with no dinner we had leftovers. Maybe next Saturday we will have fresh crab.
