After Jenny got through with her visit, we headed down to Savannah. Jenny wanted to go to the Junior League thrift sale. We got the girls a number of sets of shoes and a few dresses and I got a PCI ATA board. I may have to expand to a tower case. That would bring the total up to 8 IDE devices after all. We went to River Street too. Octoberfest was going on. Unfortunately, we missed the weiner dog races by a couple of hours. There was a German-style band all dressed in their lederhosen and dancers in the same garb. Not my cup of tea. The artizans were out en masse as were the spiffy hotrods. The ship in the center is the USS Cole. She is patched up and good as new. I met a sailor stationed to her and he said that not many aboard where on it when it was bombed on October 12, 2000. I guess that was 5 years to patch her up and get her a new paint job.
