We had our first bite yesterday and all over a push popper thingy. For me it was hard because like all the TV fights among kids I did not know who started it or who had the toy first I could only punish the biter -- Kate (also the kid with the most teeth). I felt bad as it may have been her playing with it originally and Emma tried to steal it but alas "We don't bite".

I have also created a way to get medicine into Emma. Since we love getting juice in straws I have started pushing it into the straw using the syringe that she hates and then placing my finger over it and letting it slide into her mouth. She sucks it down this way. James says I have to follow it with real juice since that's what I'm telling her it is. As long as she takes it easily I'll follow it with whatever she wants. Score one for Mom!
