The girls had their 15 month check up today (even though they will be 16 months on Sunday). He seemed pleased that we had gained a little bit more weight. Not enough to get excited over but at least we are gaining. Emma is at 16 pounds 4 ounces and Kate is 18.5 pounds. Turns out Emma has an ear infection. We would have never known it without the appointment she has been her normal Emma self and pulling at her ears is something she has always done while sucking her thumb. It made me feel like a bad nurse because I was completely oblivious. Now we get the fun and daunting task of getting Amoxicillin in her twice a day. So far the first dose ended up all over her, here's hoping we can get enough in her over the next 7 days to actually do something.
